I’m Broke And I Have No Savings
So its about that time of the month where I find myself on the pretty dismal side of my overdraft with it being a long time till I get paid again. I’m not bad with money but after 3 years of uni living off my overdraft and now having a house and a car to try and run I don’t really have much spare in my current account and what little I did have in a savings account dissapeared within a few months of starting uni.
Now though I have been out of uni for a year and so my lovely £1600 interest free overdraft on my current account has suddenly dropped to only £1000 interest free. This basically means this month I lost £600 just like that! Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!11!!
Still this means I now only have £1000 I have to pay back and then I will have actual money in my bank for the first time in about 4 years! Who knows I might even look into one of the many fancy new savings accounts they seem to have nowadays with the ‘ISA’ this and the ‘credit’ that, it’s all jargon to me but I do know if I can save some money I might finally get my car looking how I want it! :D
