Sonar Festival 2010
Spain is a seriously nice place, I need a holiday and I haven’t been abroad in about 5 years! Yet I dislike the tourist parts of Spain, I can’t afford to go to a week long resort anywhere and I don’t like taking too long off work without having a decent reason.
I do however really love festivals!
The line-up for Sonar this year is, so far, Chemical Brothers, Dizzee Rascal, LCD soundsystem and Air. That’s a pretty good start for a line up and there is still loads more to be announced before it happens on 17th - 19th of June. It really is tempting as I could just fly in and then get some car hire in Spain and drive directly there easy peasy.
If I was feeling particularly hardcore I could even drive around Spain for a month and then go to Benicasim for FIB on the 15th to 18th of July, which has The Prodigy, Kasabian, The Specials, Ian Brown and Dizzee again! after that it would just be a quick drive down to drop off the car hire in Alicante and then fly home direct from there.
