I just read on BBC News this story about a cyclist catching a road rage attack on his helmet camera. The police have released the footage (which is very grainy, about 5 seconds long and pretty useless) to try and appeal for someone who knows the man being accused of assaulting the cyclist.
Being a cyclist and motorist myself I have zero tolerance of road rage and drivers who think they own the road and lash out at cyclists. We take up a tiny amount of the road and we are pretty vulnerable, be nice to us and don’t try to knock us off on purporse - how would you feel if something bad happened and you had to live with the knowledge it was your fault.
If you are in the Manchester area watch the video on the link and hopefully the man can be brought to justice. I hope the cyclist is ok and I hope he is trying to bring forward a cycle accident claim so if they find the man he can get compensation.
