The Croatian National Theatre is one of many amazing buildings that can be found in Split, Croatia. Built in 1893 and then later renovated the building is a fantastic example of the style around the city. In 1979 the whole centre of Split was made into a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Split is often said to be the centre of Croatian culture.
If you take a trip to the city, one of the best places to stay is by the coast of the Adriatic Sea in a seaside hotel, the crystal blue waters and beautiful pebble beaches give a great backdrop the the old city buildings and monuments.
