Lego Is Cool - It’s Official
I’ve been noticing a lot of people blogging and reblogging stuff about Lego and I have to admit I’ve been getting very nostalgic about it and been thinking about trying to find my old Star Wars Lego and building it all up again!
The coolest thing now though is that Lego as a brand seem to be realising they are quite ‘trendy’ with people who are really to old to be playing with toys and they are releasing more adult orientated toys because of it. Like the very cool Lego Polaroid camera, it is just too cool and I know a few people who I could buy it for as a Christmas present and they would definitely love it! So I went off and had a look at the childrens toys section of the Littlewoods site to see if I could find it or something similar. It looks like Lego is really taking advantage of branded toys doing special edition Toy Story and Ben 10 sets the only one I could see that wasn’t related to a TV show or film was Lego City.
I love the stop animation videos that people make using Lego as well and this super fast version of the original Star Wars trilogy all done using Lego is AMAZING!
Of course like me some other people have never grown up and still play with lego, some people even make a job out of it like Nathan Sawaya who specialises in huge Lego sculptures, like this piece called ‘The Courage Within’
Pilot did a very funny advertising campaign for their extra fine pens by using pictures of Lego men that had been ‘tattoed’ using their pens. They actually look very cool and if I could draw I would definitely be trying it!
Anyway I think I’m getting a bit carried away now looking at Lego lol! I still haven’t found where I can buy a Lego Polaroid camera, of if they even exist so if somebody knows how to get one can they help me out please?
