The Radisson Blu hotel in Riyadh and it’s iconic Arabian architecture that features the stunning sand coloured twin buildings is a great feature across the Riyadh skyline.
Saudi Arabia is known for its unique architecture and distinctive designs and Riyadh, being the capital and largest city in Saudi Arabia, has some amazing architecture to show off, including the huge Kingdom Centre tower that dominates over the whole city. It is the 67th tallest building in the world and stands 1000ft high.
Much of the old town buildings did not survive when the city began expanding rapidly but a lot of the newer buildings all kept to the same Arabian style and that makes the large modern skyscrapers look even more space age.
The Burj Al Faisaliyah was the first ever skyscraper constructed in Saudi Arabia and is still the second tallest, it started construction in 1997 and was completed in 2000.
