Exciting to see someone from my alma mater doing such great work; SO-IL’s recently completed Kukje Art Center in Seoul.
Cavan Cathedral
Cavan Cathedral or to give it, it’s more official title of The cathedral of Saint Patrick and Saint Felim is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the Irish town of Cavan. The current building started construction in 1938 and was completed in 1942, it was seen over by W.H Byrne & Son architects and cost £209,000 to complete.
Cavan is the county town of County Cavan, it lies near the border to Northern Island and is on the main road (the N3) which links Dublin in the south with Enniskillen, Ballyshannon and Donegal Town in the north. Staying in Cavan can be a good base for exploring Ireland if you don’t want to make a base in the bigger cities and as it is a main road through town, it has easy links to places for day trips.
