The Croatian National Theatre The Croatian National Theatre is one of many amazing buildings that can be found in Split, Croatia. Built in 1893 and then later renovated the building is a fantastic example of the style around the city. In 1979 the whole centre of Split was made into a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Split is often said to be the centre of Croatian culture. If you take a trip to the city, one of the best places to stay is by the coast of the Adriatic Sea in a seaside hotel, the crystal blue waters and beautiful pebble beaches give a great backdrop the the old city buildings and monuments.
